Davids graduated from Johnson County Community College, earned her law degree from Cornell, and worked as a White House Fellow during the Obama-Trump transition. As a lawyer, economic advisor, and advocate, she knows how to build consensus and get things done, and as a woman and a Native American, she knows how to stand up equity. She is running for congress Kansas to represent the people and fight against special interests.

Kevin Yoder- Sharice Davids is the incumbent. This candidate fits in his party because of his views on politics and he is more on the republican side for sure. He has also served on the KU Law School Board of Governs. He was a 2007 graduate of Leadership in Kansas.
- It was on his family farm where Kevin learned the true value of hard work, and saw first-hand the ingenuity and prairie spirit that makes Kansas such a special place. He represents the Third Congressional District of Kansas, which includes Johnson County, Wyandotte County and the northeast corner of Miami County.

-There are outside groups spending money on this race. American Chemistry Counsil, Ending Spending, Everytown for gun safely action fund, House majority PAC are some of them.
-In 2016, Trump won Kansas by more than 20 percentage points, posting a better margin than John McCain did over former President Barack Obama in 2008 and a shade less than the 21 percent advantage that Mitt Romney had over Obama in 2012.
-Endorsments: Bernie Sanders, Ro Khanna, Raul Ruiz, Alexandia Cortez, Barbara Bollier, LPAC, Bold PAC, DEmand Universal Healthcare and many more.
-A big issue is that Republicans are emphasizing law enforcement as a top issue in the race. On Friday, the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) released a new TV ad featuring Johnson County Sheriff Calvin Hayden, who says Davids "sided with left-wing radicals" and "turned her back on law enforcement." In a news release, CLF said it has reserved $2 million in ad time in Kansas City and on digital platforms. I belive this is a national issue

My prediction of this election outcome is that Kevin Yoder is going to get the spot and win, because he has a good amount of more votes right now and it is really close to the end day. At the moment he is at 51,973v votes and Sharice Davids is at 22.891. I feel like a lot of people do not agree with him having the seat "abortion politics, and the decline of organized labor’s support for Democrats, cost Glickman dearly in 1994." (Midterm election pollFor example even voting for a president a lot of people were against Trumps decisions but that doesn't mean that he didn't win. I just have my opinion that I believe he will win and i would rather have him win as well. I understand why a lot of people would think otherwise and want Sharice to get the seat because there are a lot of people that agree with democratic ways.
