Comonly if there is a statue of Mary it will sit high upon a mountain looking over the people of the town. If the citizens long to reach the statues they may hike or take a very long walk to reach her. At the end there hearts may be fufilled by the beautiful sight of their christian mother. The elevation of the statue represents that Mary is someone we may look to when trying to become better in our faith filled lives.
