What I like about this painting is how all the detail is very wavy. I also like this painting because it has a lot of different colors. It also has a detail to it. I also like this painting because it almost looks like the artist went to a boardwalk and painted what he saw. I also like this painting because it looks like it probably took him a lot of time to do.

My favorite work of art is a piece called Christina's World by Andrew Wyeth. If you look really closely, you will notice that Christina's hands are gnarled. The reason for this is because she got the disease of polio, which took away her ability to walk. She would pull herself around the Olson farm by her hands. This piece looks tranquil and beautiful, but when you realize the difficulty that Christina would have had to pull herself around such a huge, and vast landscape, the entire feel of the piece is different. Christina had a wheelchair, but she preferred her independent freedom with her hands as her feet.

Luis--I absolutely LOVE the three dimensional quality to the artwork that you chose. It is absolutely fantastic! I will certainly be looking up more work by Manfred Stader!! How amazing is that!

Sasha-I'm not the biggest fan of Pablo Picasso because I prefer realism to the abstract. I do appreciate the risks that he took in changing perspectives of what art really is.

This painting is called the weeping woman by Pablo Picasso I like all his paintings cause he uses different things in his painting its not just a regular face he uses shapes and a lot of other things. All his paintings are very interesting and very detailed.

This piece is called Jinro by Manfred Stader. I like this art because it looks really cool. It also has a lot of detail. I also like it because it shows that even with chalk people have a lot of talent. I think it's cool that someone can do that with chalk. I like to look at 3d chalk art because it looks cool and it makes you feel like you're there.

This painting is called Mona LIsa , it was painted by famous artist named Leonardo De Vinci. I like this painting because it has alot of detail. Whenever I think of famous artwork this painting always comes to my mind. Another reason I like it is because it looks very soft .I feel like Leonardo De Vinci was a very talented artist because even the work that he didn't finish like this one , is still one of the most famous paintings in art.
