Patient is a 52 year-old male that sustained multiple injuries after getting run over by a snowplow that weights 14,000 lbs. Patient's neighbor called 911 and reports that the patient was ran over by his snowcat that missed his head. Patient has a major laceration on the back of his head that is controlled by applying pressure. Capillary refill is >3 seconds. Patient is alert and oriented, GCS of 8, and patient is moaning and groaning. Patient only responds to painful stimuli and not speaking coherently. Blood was noted coming out of both ears and nostrils. Bruising is noted on the abdomen and he has a contusion to his left eye. Patient had shallow, labored breathing. Patient has flail chest and has a pneumothorax on the right side due to uneven chest rise and fall. Decompression by several needles was performed. Decreased breath sounds on the right side. Otherwise, patent airway. Patient has obvious deformities to bilateral lower extremities. Other deformities are noted on his left wrist. Patient was stabilized in C-spine when air transport arrived. Patient was also covered in blankets related to environment.

Vital Signs are BP 89/60, HR 126, RR 32, O2 is 79% on RA and Temperature 36.5. Patient was put on a non-rebreather at 15L per minute to reach 91% O2 saturation.

Patient is coming via air and is about 17 min out.
