The definition of a Migrant worker is "a person who moves to another country or area in order to find employment, in particular seasonal or temporary work." Let not get it confuse with an Immigrant. An immigrant is when a person comes from an different country. Although their are some immigrants, who do become migrants workers, but in this case I will be talking about migrants alone.

In this picture both of my grandparents are fixing, and cleaning up the trailers before the seasonal works starts to come in. My grandparents are getting ready to go into a city called El Campo, and start gathering wheat/grain, corn, rice, cotton, and sometimes cabbage. They go to this city every summer, and my grandfather has been doing this since he was 16 years old.

(Video of Cotton Flower in a field)
My grandparents have been migrants workers their whole life. They would always move school to school, which effects their education. Not only that, they lived in a time where school segregated them, and treat them very differently because they are a different race. With all this happening, some of my grandparents weren't able to graduate, and some didn't really learn anything than trying to survive. This relates to week 3 "Migration and Education".
