An eco-friendly house is a house that is designed to be not harmful to the environment. It does not pollute land, air or water. An ecofriendly house reduces energy consumption and waste. It provides its own energy requirements, it deals with its own waste products without environmental damage, it saves water, reduces rubbish and provides most of the food and water requirements of its occupants.

Water means different things to different people. It is important to your home, your livelihood, your religious and cultural practices, your wellbeing and your local environment. For example, in households, schools and workplaces, water can mean health, hygiene, dignity and productivity. Today, water is under extreme threat from a growing population, increasing demands of agriculture
and industry, and the worsening impacts of climate change.

• If you eat healthy food every day, then you will
grow up stronger because healthy food gives you
nutrients.
• If you add only little water, then the plant will not
grow.
