She does a great job bringing out sensitivity and likability in this rather snobbish character. It's also just a cute, classic rom-com centered around the tensions between love, money and marriage like most Jane Austen stories. For a more contemporary and modified retelling of EMMA, check out the movie CLUELESS.

I haven't even seen many Marvel/Avengers movies but I thought the show was so interesting conceptually regardless! Each episode covers and parodies a different decade of the television sitcom format. It also transforms into something quite unexpected a few episodes in. I urge you to watch past episode three if you start this show.

At first, I followed recipes quite closely but now I like to improvise a bit more. This one from the NYTimes is DELICIOUS. Sometimes I use ground pork instead of bacon and I almost always add more soy and fish sauce. Also, DEFINITELY recommend adding a wild amount of Sriracha to the final bowl. Perfection.

Such a cool story with lots of twists and turns along the way! Spans over multiple decades and written from a variety of perspectives; it had me hooked from the start. Grapples with racial identity in a nuanced and compelling way. Even though I read this book several months ago, I still think about the ideas it brought up today. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I've played the board game a couple times but mostly I just play on the app on my phone. This is a tile-laying game where players build cities, roads, monasteries and fields. Players also have the opportunity to steal these structures from one another as the game goes on. Takes a few tries to learn, but once you do, LOTS of fun.

He considered the possibility that we live our lives in a loop; in other words, once we die, we will cycle back through our lives an infinite number of times, living the same days over and over for eternity. This could definitely be a depressing thought but it's one that doesn't have to be. I think about this a lot (especially in the context of being in a pandemic). It makes me think more practically about how I am choosing to live my life... How can I make my days interesting? What, if anything, about this day would I revisit in another cycle of the loop? How can I live in a way that would make this endless loop sustainable? I think it's an interesting thing to think about even if I don't particularly agree that it will happen that way.

I opened it and saw a disc for plants vs. zombies. During Quarantine I beat all the levels of the game because its really fun to collect the plants and protect Crazy Dave. Its a less scary version of an apocalypse game.

It is separated by 5 chapters and all the poems relate to the chapter title (ex. heartbreak). It was recommended to me by my sister indirectly. She purchased the book a few years ago and it has just been sitting there. I started getting into poetry so I wanted to see other poets and their poems. I really like it because it can relate to things so well even if you don't think about it.

All 3 books are so engaging and constantly keep you on your feet. I particularly love this series for the character relationships. The main characters, Day and June, have a great romance that doesn't overshadow the plot of the books. You'll grow an emotional attachment to all of the characters. If you like YA and dystopian novels, then you'll enjoy the Legend trilogy.

It is the perfect dark comedy with superb acting, it has two seasons and I cant wait to finish it.

It is super enthralling and it makes you want to just keep on watching.

Part of me particularly like the movie purely because of Robin Williams. However, as someone who loves English, and poetry, I also loved this movie for its focus on that. I loved the relationship between Mr. Keating and his students. I also loved the bravery and character development of his students - particularly Todd. This movie was incredible.

All the bakes look delicious, the judges are entertaining, and you'll love the contestants in every season. This show is particularly relaxing because it does not replicate the hostile environment in American baking/cooking shows. This show is also great if you want to watch something without having to be too focused or invested.

I feel like Naruto is such a hard anime to watch due to the length (Naruto 220 episodes, Naruto Shippuden 500 episodes) but I totally recommend it because it has such good advise/ meaning AFTER you watch it. You reflect on it and it just starts to make sense after a while.

Definitely this show can give you chills, but the most intriguing part is how the characters and their relationships with others develop over this very long show.

For marination, simple ingredients like cilantro, onion, meat of any kind, and salt and pepper for seasoning would suffice. However, there’s no limitation for what you can add. And then they are deep fried. It is savory and crunchy and has a soft chew inner texture. I highly recommend making them at home. Very convenient for those who just wants a quick yummy snack to fill up their tummy!

However, upon watching it I realized it was soooo much more. The family dynamic is incredibly complex, as is the understanding of each character's individual powers. The show is artistic, and visually pleasing. The storyline follows a family of kids, born with powers, on the same day, to women who weren't pregnant prior to that day. They were all adopted by a man who trained them to use their powers. Fast forward to the future, when the end of the world is quickly approaching, and they need to find a way to stop it. I don't know how to explain this show but it finds a way to terrify me, make me laugh, and just...bring me immense joy.

It is a prison with 100 floors (or so you think). Many criminals come here and share a floor with another inmate for 1 whole month and it changes each month. The floor level depends on your status/behavior and the higher you are the better it is because a slab of food descends each day and they only have a limited time to eat the food. The food continues going down even when there is no food left because there are still people that need the food. Many die and many go to extreme measures to survive. I really recommend this.

It's about a bunch of kids and the secret behind their orphanage as well as their caretaker. Every episode leaves you on the edge of your seat and it's just a fun experience. Season 2 recently came out (with 1 new episode weekly) and I haven't started watching yet, cause I'm going to wait for all the episodes to come out.

I started a smp (survival multiplayer) with friends and we have been bonding over that.

The juiciness from the egg, the tenderness from the ham with the melting cheese, and the fluffy toasted bread that just teasing you to bite into it, it's like paradise when you bite into it. Very eggy, cheesy, but also that strong ham tasted with the bread to compensate the taste. Very good.

So, you crush up cereals into very very very tiny pieces and roll a scoop of ice cream of choice through the cereal covering the ice cream all together. Then you just fry it and add any toppings they want and thats pretty much it. The ice cream doesn't really melt so at the end there is a mixture of warm crunchy cereal and cold ice cream, it is very delicious!

This series also involves love triangle between the female lead who has dreams of becoming an entrepreneur like Steve Jobs, and a man who is secretly her first love and another man who is pretending to be her first love. Things get extremely complicated.
