They blew me away with their performance of Bernstein's Symphony No. 2: The Age of Anxiety and Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5 in B-flat Major, Op.100. Their approach far exceeded my expectations with their ferocious passion heard throughout the concert. They even had a special guest, Misha Dichter, a world-renowned pianist who stole the show with his performance of Bernstein's piece along with the symphony. I loved how each piece told their own story whether that be an emotional one between two lovers or a story of patriotism through the ear of the great war. Each piece made me feel both nostalgic and on edge.
