During my first rotation, I learned what it truly means to be a nurse.

At the beginning I felt nervous but I was able to overcome my initial anxiety and learn a lot.

I worked in the cardiology department and immediately fell in love with it.

My tutors supported me and taught me a lot, they helped me understand the critical role that nurses play in the patient's care journey — from creating a care plan to building a meaningful relationship with the patient.

I saw and learned many things, but sometimes it was difficult; the department host patients with complex pathologies and many needs.

At times, it was emotionally challenging, it was often hard to witness and accept that even very young children were facing such serious problems.

Despite this, this experience was deeply formative and I consider it one of the greatest experiences of my life and it will remain in my heart forever.
