Social media, many countries and its people have advocated the idea of justice towards people of color for years now, however even though is has made a great impact on many, there is still an underlying population who are discriminating and still hold the idea that skin color effects the privilege you hold in society. According to Newsela, humans are still to learn the language of respect. There have been movements like the black lives movement, several protests and more to push the idea of justice and equality. Instead police brutality, Anti blackness and xenophobia is being seen, especially in Ledc countries. This suggests that this generational discrimination that has been passed down for years is still being seen, yet not heard. Although in the 21st century, things have changed and justice has been severely pushed for, the words of our civilians are yet to be made into action.

Every living creature on this planet has a right to the natural resources, but it is often neglected due to humans and their greed. According to progress.org, the equal and sustainable right of access to the Earth’s bounty is one of the most transcendent truths a human being can ever contemplate. We are taught sharing in schools in our early years, then why is it that when we grow up, we forget that everyone has a right to the natural resources around us. The natural property that comes from the creator of the universe is an inalienable right for all. Because humans did not make it.

People are ignoring the serious and real consequences of climate change. Because of the amount of ignorance and lack of action, it will be too late to take action in the future. If we are able to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, we will reduce the risk of dangerous climate impacts worldwide. However, fossil fuels are still being used today and not much progress is being made and Fossil fuel corporations are profiting from the continued consumption of coal, oil and gas, which are driving global warming to dangerous levels.

Many countries have advocated for the idea of justice for people of colour but racism is still a predominant issue in the 21st Century. For several decades racism has been talked about and various rules have been implemented to try and stop the act of racism. For example, SDGs such as reduced inequalities placed by the UN have been placed to try and reduce the discrimination people face. Furthermore, movements such as the Black Lives Matter movement had the same goal. However, even with all of these acts, there is still an underlying population that feels hate and sees differentiation to people of colour. According to the Diplomat, in Australia, an MEDC country, this racist bias still exists. There have been cases of cops waiting outside liquor stores questioning indigenous people about their ID, and asking various other questions such as their address and this always leads to ingrained anxiety within the indigenous population. People are scared for their lives as in some scenarios such as the recent trial of Zachary Rolfe, an indigenous man dies from murder. All around the world people still face racism whether it may be physical or verbal but this issue is still predominant after everything our world has done. There is no such thing as race. None. There is just a human race.

Gender Equality is an important issue in many areas of the world, as a result of gender based discrimination women and other genders are treated differently just because of their gender - which is something that they can’t control. Over the years the discrimination based on gender has severely reduced, and in most areas of the world women are treated as equally as their male counterparts. Although, unfortunately in some countries especially countries in South America, Africa and Asia women are treated unfairly, exploited in their workplace and possibly at their homes, and are looked down upon by the male community. We tend to forget that a persons’ gender is not a choice, and that there is no ‘inferior’ gender, the human race would be incomplete without different genders, and therefore all genders should be treated and respected equally.

It may even be a useful way for those with social anxiety and those who have a hard time with face-to-face interactions to connect with others. Now these all sound good and seem to only be benefits, but there are also a lot of down sides like mental illnesses and depression that might have been caused by people using it. So if social media is able to be used properly, then it can help people that might need it.

There have been many protests and speeches to change this to give women the respect and rights that they deserve however, it still isn’t enough to change this standard and misogynistic way of thinking.

There needs to be a limit on how many octopuses are captured in the wild because, without any rules, they can easily go extinct. According to guardian.com, the number of octopuses captured in the wild has doubled from 1980 to 2014. These astonishing numbers are the cause of the rapid decrease in the wild octopus population. More than 350,000 tonnes of octopus are caught each year due to the increase in demand and they are kept in close proximity with each other. These conditions cause them to turn aggressive and feel extreme distress. This is a reason why Captive octopuses have been known to eat their arms. When so many octopus are captured and stored in the same place, it harms their wellbeing and ability to live a good life.

In this world, the are many natural/common resources; most are made by nature, some are man-made. However, due to human greed, many of these resources have been exploited or controlled by individuals or groups. This results in great inequities. The Earth belongs to everyone. We cannot bring anything in, nor can we take anything out. (1Tim 6:7) "The land, the earth God gave man for his home, sustenance, and support, should never be the possession of any man, corporation, society, or unfriendly government, any more than the air or water."— Abraham Lincoln

These resources such as land, oil, gas, air, water, etc. have been controlled by some to their own benefit. Even the internet, or databases, for example, could qualify as such resources.
However, these exploitations, though good for some, bring great inequities into society. Some get immeasurably rich via the means of some land they 'own', when the people sitting right on top of that oil are so poor? Everyone must benefit from nature, yet share the responsibility to it.

Almost everyone in our world is aware of the fact that renewable energy is better than fossil fuels. While most of the time this is true, in some cases, fossil fuels can be considered a better option for some groups of people. In many LEDC countries, getting access to safe cooking supplies is hard. Therefore, many people use burning coal, wood or even trash to cook their food. However, when some of these gas particles are inhaled, it causes household air pollution which can to some extent, even kill people. Knowing this, fossil fuels are a much safer energy source that these people can get access to. Although the consequences of climate change are tangible, it is important to not neglect other factors.

A United Nations report claims that LEDCs were estimated to account for about 1.1% of the world's CO2 emissions. Countries like Nigeria, the Philippines, Vietnam, and many more tropically situated are in danger and are vulnerable to suffering the most from the coming environmental crisis.
BBC states that climate change is not only an environmental problem; it interacts with social systems, privileges, and embedded injustices and affects people of a different class, race, gender, geography, and generations unequally. A system based on injustice can't hold too long and eventually or artificially the system corrects itself. The eventual result of this could be mass migration, revolutions, violent measures, and change completely in our world.

Although modern civilization has taken a great step into advocating against racism and discrimination, many people still believe that the pigment of your skin defines your place in society. This has escalated to the point where even people with darker skin are not able to accept themselves as a figure of beauty alongside white skin. Newsela.com has stated that people have bleached their skin to have a lighter color, thinking that that is the only acceptable or fashionable way to be. Many regulations have been administered against the act of racism such as the BLM Movement, NAACP and Color of Change. There are many more projects that have been set in action to prevent more discrimination, but even as many push for Racial Equality there are many who believe that there should be a divide between the races. There is still a lot of debate about what is wrong and what is right when it comes to this complex issue, but as we dispute about this so many people suffer because of a few people who put themselves onto a pedestal, not willing to see that everyone else’s lives are equal to theirs and their life is equal to everyone else’s.

Billions of people around the world use social media to share information and make connections, but there are many obscured consequences. Social media is a device that the modern world has utilized to connect the globe. From simply allowing families and relationships to work at a distance, to providing opportunities for those who have a hard time connecting with others, the benefits for such an invention are endless. But while many of us only look for the benefits, we must also take into account the negatives that come with having access to social media. Many of these outlets and platforms do not have proper safety and privacy restrictions in place, therefore many of the users are prone to getting hacked, having information leaked, seeing violent or disturbing media, and or cyber bullying. All of these consequences can create serious harm for the user, especially for younger users who are more prone to harmful media, and are more likely to be deeply affected. Some impacts are depression, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), anxiety amongst others.

Humans love to eat meat. The problem with this, though, is that the livestock we raise and slaughter needs an immense amount of resources, like water and land, contribute to the methane and carbon emissions, but also what should be equally as important, the livestock industry is a cruel towards animals.

Although in the future, it doesn't seem all slaughterhouses or livestock farms will disappear, it doesn't mean we can't do something about the conditions these animals live in. A basic lack of respect comes from the farmers, many times meaning that these animals are beaten and tortured for no reason and these animals are forced to live in horrible dirty conditions. We need to be implementing specific policies and laws for the farming industry, as well as having a way to enforce that good practices are happening. This may take form in a change in law or a basic test all farms must take in order to become certified or eligible to sell products
