Dear Dr. Nadia,

You may not remember, but we've actually crossed paths even before you became my PIL lecturer - during the IHL competition last year, where I had the privilege of receiving your guidance. Thank you for always replying to my emails so promptly, even back then!

Having you as my PIL Lecturer truly changed my perspective of how a lecture could be conducted. The unexpected surprises (random kahoot sessions and fun games during 'break time') were part of the reason why I enjoy coming to your lectures. Although I must admit that the Kahoot music still traumatises me till this day, I genuinely found the sessions engaging and deepened my understanding of PIL.

I wanted to associate you with a type of food, but to be honest, I couldn’t settle on a specific one. So I’ve decided to associate you with CIL instead. You’re shaped by meaningful practice, respected by those around you, and open to evolution. These are the qualities made your lectures enriching and dynamic! I’m sure that, just like CIL, you’ll continue to be relevant, impactful, and appreciated wherever you go (and we’ll always be your No. 1 supporters) !

All in all, thank you for making my LLB journey at Taylor’s such a memorable one. I’ll miss you, but I’m sure we’ll cross paths again someday. Maybe I’ll even treat you to a RM15 matcha (no pun intended).

- Daphne Ling
