My department is hotel operation and I arrive at 9 am as follow as email that they given to me before this.

They ask me to fill up all the forms they give to me which is employee form, parking apply form and some term & condition form and they give me 2 shirts (uniform tune hotel).
They put me at housekeeping department and I follow 2 fulltime workers which is Mathu (indian girls) and Reza (sabahan boy) team T01 (in charge 001-163 rooms) as kak Ayu (Supervisor) put me in this group.
My job is cleaning the toilet at checkout rooms (they provide the company phone for all teams that we can see how many rooms need to clean up).
The total rooms for today is 40 but I only clean 30 because I late arrive and I'm going back at 5.30 pm as kak Ayu told me so. She also told me from now on I must attend at 8am so I can go back at 5.30pm.

Today we've got 38 rooms that need to be clean including VVIP rooms, family rooms, studio rooms and others.
We have a break time at 12.30 pm until 1.30 pm at staff rooms (food they provide).
Around 2.45 pm the manager which is Miss Carol ask 4 people to make a thumb print at office including me. So starting tomorrow I must do the thumb print before and after work.
We finish all the rooms at 5.10 pm and they teach me how to clean it up the tools, at where we should throw the rubbish and so on.
After finish all this then I'm going back at 5.45 pm.
On this day I still confuse and it's hard to recognize all people at this department beside surrounding Tune Hotel is hard for me to remember. I'm still follow the people and ask for their help.

Today at 7.40 I already arrive and do a thumb print at office. After that, I'm straight away to loading bay where normally all housekeeping worker will gather at here to take all the tools before start working.
As usually my team still same which is T01 together with Mathu and Reza. We are doing the 37 rooms and mostly we get a VVIP rooms that need to be clean very properly.
At 12.30pm all of us going to take a break at staff rooms until 1.30pm. After that we will continues working and clean all the rooms that listed. At 2pm, Kak Ayu told me that tomorrow is my off day.
Around 5.20pm my team already finish and settle our rooms but my team members which is Mathu and Reza need to do the OT (overtime working) to helping other team which is team 2 to finish their rooms. But I can go back as usual.
Before going back I need to settle my team work which is put the tools and throw the rubbish. I collected all the rubbish at 1st floor and ground floor and throw it all before I go to office and make a thumb print to going back home.
At office around 5.37pm I hand up the letter from UMK that I forgot to give it to my manager which is Miss Carol. And finally I make a thumb print at 5.40pm and going back home.

We finish all rooms at 5.20pm but my team still got 3 rooms didn't make because of this rooms late check out at 7pm.
5.30pm I throw all the garbage and thumb print out.

Today progress is a little bit slow then before maybe because of different people at my team 01.

7.10pm we collect all the garbage and throw it. Today we can't finish the rooms balance is got 5 rooms and we just take out all the linen.
We thumb print to go home at 7.25pm so today I'm doing an OT which means overtime working 2 hours.

Today my team 01 same as before with Reza and Mathu. Today we've got 40 rooms as usual while the other teams got 36/37 rooms to complete it.
Today I'm making bed with Reza while Mathu, she making bathrooms.
Total rooms that I do is 36 rooms and 3 rooms VVIP so Mathu take over because that rooms we must do a proper and make sure perfect while me continues doing bathrooms.
Today we finish all rooms except 1 room because the guest asking the receptionist to extant their booking.
We clear all things and throw rubbish at 5.30pm and thumb print to going back at 5.44pm.
This my first time making 36 rooms even have partner but it's totally so tired.

Today supervisor assign me as public area with Najib. My first time to do this work but Najib guide me and told me what I must to do at public area or they called it PA.
At public area I must wash the woman and man toilet at public or for guest usually, surau man and woman and also locker staff and toilet as well man and woman.
After that, I sweep at corridor and moping that area.
Break time as usual at 12.30pm until 1.30pm and then continues checking the public toilet and others.
I also making a runner help to send the guest request for example send water, collect garbage at level 3 until level 6, send kettle by request and others.
At 5.30pm I'm going back home.

We have 36 rooms that must be complete by today. Before break we finish 13 rooms.

After break my team need to help team 01 to do their rooms. This is because team 01 they are making deep cleaning at 4 rooms.

Deep cleaning is where the team need to wash and wiping over all the rooms including washing the bathrooms and sink.

My team finish making 15 rooms (team01) at 5.30pm. Because my team helping team01 we must take out all the linen at our rooms at level 3 and 4.

Then we make an overtime working 1 hour and we thumb print at 6.30pm.

Today I assign at team 01 with Reza and Kalai, we must finish the rooms total 40 rooms.

Before break already finish 13 rooms, but after break supervisor told me to backup team 03 with Thanes because one of her partner need to cover Aero.

Total rooms with team 03 is 23 rooms and I do bed at first. At 5pm I do bathrooms and she do bed with another one partner which is Saiful. He come to help my team and that's happen at another team also.

So every team has 3 team to finish all the rooms because the manager told me tomorrow is busiest day and many guest making a reserve for tomorrow morning.

All of the staff need stay back and cannot going back until finish the all assign rooms.

My team finish the rooms at 8.15pm and I throw rubbish at 8.20pm and going back at 8.30pm. So I making an OT 3 hours for today.

Today is very challenging until team 01 who already finish their rooms also stay back and helping team 02 to finish the rooms.

Most of the housekeeping staff stay back and going back at 8.40pm.

Today my team have 45 rooms. I at team 01 with Mathu and Reza. I and Reza making bed while Mathu making bathroom.

After break we have 2 rooms that need to do a deep cleaning which is room 016 and 017.

1 room we finish the deep cleaning 1 hour and half. We do a deep cleaning with monitoring our manager Miny (Indian woman all staff called her as mommy).

We start doing the deep cleaning at 4pm until 6pm we finish and we continues making other rooms.

We finish rooms at 8pm so total I do OT is 2 hours today. We also drop 5 rooms because we cannot stay longer and Mathu don't have energy to continues.

Today we didn't take a break, we continues making rooms until 1.20pm we take a little break for 10 minutes.
The other woman manager (sabahan), she told we must stay back and make sure the deep cleaning rooms yesterday finish with tip top condition.
But I cannot stay back and asking permission with Kak Ayu (supervisor) I must going back at 6pm because want to iftar with my family as promise.
Then I going back at 6pm and total rooms I do is 40 rooms another 5 rooms Reza and Mathu continues.
As I know they drop 2 rooms because Reza also want to iftar at outside and don't want to do more OT.

I going back after finish collect garbage at level 3 until 6 and after finish sending water bottle. So I'm going back at 6pm after inform Kak Ayu.

After we clear all that, we going to take a break at surau from 12.45 pm until 1.35 pm.
We continues our rooms at level 4 as usually I'm making toilet and my partner making bed (even though I actually want making bed).
We cannot finish our rooms because of my partner doesn't want to making an OT today.
We only finish 16 rooms and we drop 20 rooms at 5.30 pm.
After that we clear our trolly, rubbish, thumb print and going back.

Total rooms we have is 42 rooms. We do it without having a break.

Half Mathu do the rooms and half I continues while she doing bathroom. It is because she tired and didn't get enough sleep.

Today we do 14 rooms and makeup room we do 8 rooms. So total rooms we only do is 22 rooms but we drop the rooms which mean uncomplete room is 16 rooms.

Today also like yesterday which is I do an OT 1 hour.

Because of so many stain at linen, we didn't get enough linen and we also drop rooms.

We finish 30 rooms, 4 rooms don't have duvet cover and 5 rooms we only take out linen that's mean we drop that 5 rooms.

Before we drop the rooms, we already ask the permission with supervisor which is Rose.

After that we finish all this at 7.25pm, after we setup all the trolly we thumb print at 7.30pm.

Today I've got a team 02 with Bobby (sabahan boy). They give our team 36 rooms that need to be complete.

When me and Bobby do the first room, the supervisor make a change due to Rezza get an MC and last minutes inform. So, Bobby go to team 01 with Vithiya while me they ask Nisa (intern) to do a room.

Today we didn't take any break because Nisa and me want to back early and don't want to drop any rooms.

When we making a rooms at level 1 team 03 which is Najib and Fatin (intern) help my team to settle the rooms.

At 6.20pm we already settle the rooms with help team 03 and setting all the trolly and going back at 6.30pm.

Today I've got team 02 with Vithiya and this is my first time got a one team with her. We've got 38 rooms that need to be settle.
When we are doing the rooms the supervisor Kak Ayu bring new person which is Alisya (new intern) that we need to teach her properly.
Before break I'm do the toilet while Vithiya teach her to do a bedding. And after break I teach her to do a toilet while me and Vithiya settle the bedding.
We already do a 34 rooms, 2 under maintenance, 2 not check out yet and 1 rooms extra we do an occ rooms. So total rooms we do is 35 rooms.
After finish the rooms we teach the new intern how to setup al trolly and keep it and how to throw rubbish. at 5.30pm we finish the rooms and at 6pm we thumb print and going back.

After briefing we have a training like yesterday. Today is about 'Silverware' which means is the silver things that we use at MAKAN. For example is spoon, fork, knife, buffet things and other.

Today I morning shift. As usual I do an hostess and courtyard. But I also cover the floor because today a bit busy like we have 228pax for breakfast.

After breakfast we tidy up like usual, the new staff (Adsman) do the buffet things while me sweep the floor.

Around 10.30am they ask me to cover the guard post until 11am. After I come back, the new staff continues do my job which is mop the floor.

After that I sending the staff meal around 11.25am at level 1.

After that we wipe the plate and cutleries and again they ask me to cover the guard post at 12pm until 1.25pm.

Then, we serve customer like usual and after 3.25pm still don't have any briefing then I just ask the permission with Abd Salam (Ass Manager) to go back.

Breakfast finish at 10.10am and we start clearing the buffet, floor, bar and courtyard.
At 12pm, sending the staff meal and others staff that enter work at 12pm-12am helping us to wipe cutleries and plate.
After that we start setting the buffet again for the event. They also setup the PA system for the event used.
Then we got an briefing by Miss May (Manager of MAKAN) about the event start 3.20pm until 4pm.
Today event we called it private event which is AirAsia RENUKA event (120pax) and also MOTO RACING event (30pax).
After that at 6pm the morning staff can going back after inform Barath (supervisor).

At 3.15pm we got an short briefing because today we need to do a proper cleaning and serving cause have an Mr. Navin and Mr. Lim's son come to restaurant.

I and Datu setting the table for Mr. Navin at 3.40pm while at 6pm I and Pei jia setting the table for VVIP after Mr Navin and Mr Lim's son already going back.

After that around 8pm we got and VVIP customer which is Datuk Din. We serve and ala cart menu that they already booking.

VVIP is not everyone can serve only certain people need to serve. And I just do a backup for Pei Jia serve the water for them.

I just serving the other normal customer and do a room service.

At 10pm I clear the staff meal at level 1 and start wiping the plate and cutleries at 10.30pm since we run out of the cutleries.

At 12.20am after clearing the needed I get a permission to Barath to going back home.

Today we got a briefing at 3.15pm until 4pm. This is because after briefing Miss May ask me a question about basic knowledge about Tune Hotel.
Thumbprint will make at MINUM since MAKAN restaurants close duw to pest control until 6pm.
At 5pm we start setup the restaurant and do sanitizer to all table and chairs.
At 6pm we opening the restaurant and serve the customer as usual.
At 7pm until 7.20pm I cover guard post. After that at 10.20pm I clear staff meal.
Around 11pm we wipe cutleries and plate. Then 12am sharp I thumbprint and going back home.

As usual at 3pm we do have briefing before entre the work and they split the stationing for every staff to responsible it.

I'm looking for floor and courtyard.

I'm helping VC to count stock for end of month.

People start come around 7pm and stop by 10.30pm.

Then at 11pm we start wipe the cutleries and plate. At 12am sharp I going back.

Today we got 2 event at MINUM and MAKAN side. At 3.10pm we have a short briefing.

The event at MINUM start at 7pm and at MAKAN at 8.30pm. The staff from MAKAN help send all food to MINUM and some of it I send at courtyard.

Then we serve customer walk in as usual and the customer keep coming and non stop until 11.40pm. I start wipe cutleries at 12am and going back at 12.30am.

Today also I start do a cashiering even though I just do one time in past month.

Today the restaurant did not busy too much. While MINUM a bit busy and sometime I help them to take an order from guest.

Around 6pm until 6.30pm I cover the guard post.

Last order was room service at 11.30pm. Then we start do a cleaning. Wipe cutleries, plate and other things.

As usual, I do floor and room service while Luqman (intern) do Bar and Miss May overall. The other two person will take care of MINUM.
After pest control, around 5.30pm people start enter the MAKAN but we just can serve them drinks because kitchen didn't ready yet.
After that around 6.30pm the restaurant start busy until we did not win the hand.
The busy until around 11.45pm then, we start cleaning and wipe the cutleries.
After that we going back.

Today totally not busy as yesterday. As they can see yesterday for 3 people at MAKAN we made a sell around RM8K.

But today the busier only come around 7.30pm until 8.10pm.

When we bored, we help at courtyard to take an order.

Around 11pm we start do a cleaning as usual. At 12am sharp we going back due to not busy.

As usual, after briefing we do cleaning a little bit. Then MAKAN start busy around 7pm until 9pm.
After that MAKAN not too busy but courtyard busy with group of people form Sabah and Sarawak.
We help the MINUM side to take the order (except alcohol).
Around 11.30 we start cleaning and wipe the things and going back at 12.30am.
