Short/Medium Term Outcome

-reforestation of 8 Mangrove forest areas during project phase of 3 years.

Long Term Outcome

-stabilization of the ecosystem and combatting carbon emissions.

• 200 volunteers trained to plant seeds.

• 50,000 seedlings bought.

Outcomes:

Short-term/ medium:

• 2 Significant areas of mangrove forests

• Half the mentioned area was rehabilitated in the mentioned forests (0.75 - 1 sites)

• Half the inland sites were rehabilitated (0.75-1 sites).

• 20,000 trees planted in one year.

Long-term:

• 20% of Carbon emissions reduced in approximately 3- 4 years (40 tonnes)

• Employment rate increased by 20%.

1.        Within 1-2 years 4-5 area will have 250,000 trees planted, 70% increased of community awareness, and 30% increased of community participation
