My results showed that I was slightly kinesthetic. I feel that this represents what type of maker that I want to be. I have always been drawn to surrealists, such as Man Ray, and I feel an affinity towards haptic expressionism.

My score showed hate-expressionism. I am a very kinesthetic learner and while I understand why I got the score I did the irony is I prefer and only shoot still nature shots on my own. I don’t have the technical knowledge to be able to experiment and end p with any good results, but that’s why I’m taking this class. I want to learn all I can and get to a point where I can make images that are very profound for me

Hi class,

I recieved a multimodal score that leans more towards kinesthetic and aural. This makes sense that I relate more with haptic expressionism, I love the physicality of photography. Becuase I am also a fashion major I am very used to caring about the textures and textiles of things.

My learning preference was mild kinesthetic. I wasn’t too surprised because I’m a visual learner and then I learned through trial and error so it being mild wasn’t a surprise at all, it’s 100% me and I feel like it does fall visual realist category. Pretty cool how it all worked out.

My results showed that I'm multimodal - strongly Visual (11) and Kinesthetic (12). I had originally identified as a visual realist, but since my Kinesthetic score is so high, maybe I lean into haptic expressionism as well.

My results from the Vark quiz showed that my learning preference leans toward multimodal with high numbers in visual (16), read/write (16), and kinesthetic (14). I agree with this especially with the high score I received in the visual category. I'm more of a visual learner, and I know that I fit well into the visual realist category.

My results showed me that I was a mild kinesthetic! Definitely not surprised, I do tend to learn way better if I am seeing a visual application. I can listen all day long to anyone, but until I do it myself is when the learning happens for me. I'm so glad there's videos everywhere about photography, because when I am stuck or lost, I just tend to go to YouTube and then experiment myself. It makes sense that I fit into the visual realist category!

My result for the quiz came back as "Multimodal". I got an 8 in visual and a 10 in kinesthetic. This result didn't exactly surprise me since I've always known that I'm a visual learner. I always have to read written out instructions about a dozen times before I understand them, but when watching a demonstration, I can get it between 1-3 tries.

My results showed that I am someone who focuses on real and practical things. I think that would put me under the visual realist category and I think that aligns with how I take photos as well. I want to portray emotion but I show it through the scene rather than how the photo was shot like the expressionist examples we saw in the lecture.
