The Unthinkable Thoughts of Jacob Green by Joshua Braff

I have to give this book a fair shake: it had some poignant lines and several laugh out loud moments. Plus the story was pretty easy to read. It was about a Jewish boy named Jacob at a tough time in his life. The focus of the story was on his school and family life, and a particularly nice-looking and very young live-in housekeeper.
But I don't recommend it. I mean, we get it Braff: people think about sex sometimes. But Braff, in trying (too hard?) to connect with his young-adult audience spent so much time here that it became redundant, tiresome. Like a speaker who makes a good point but then just
won't.
stop.
talking.

Picture a dude version of Alice in Wonderland - with puns. This is The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. If you like a wild ride with many punny misadventures along the way and a gang of misfit character archetypes led by a boy late middle-school to early high school age who could kind of not care less about almost everything, then this is a great pick for you! It's funny, fast, and easy to read - an adventure I hated to see end!

As a strong advocate for the "adopt don't shop" campaign, this book was hard to put down. I have never been appealed to non-fiction books, but the way Marika Meeks captured the reader and brought them into her own life was phenomenal. With a main focus on her battle with cancer, suicidal thoughts, bully breed discrimination, and the emotional power rescuing a dog can have on one's life, Incredibull Stella brought me on a rollercoaster of emotions.

Bang is about a boy who accidentally shot his baby sister in the head when he was 4. For his entire life, he thinks about suicide. He has built up anger and wants to take it out on himself. This book is realistic fiction, which is an unusual read for me. I really enjoyed this book because I think a lot of people experience feelings like this and sadness for things that they shouldn't. For accidents and other bad things that happened to them that they couldn't prevent. This was a keeper for me and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good book!

For example, expressing the suffering of going to school and the boringness of staying at home and being bullied by school mates and siblings. And many more like having older generation parents and grandparents. If you want to read humorous picture books, then this book is definitely for you. Even though I've only read about 1/3 of the books, it is very fun and exciting to read the story, and I am very excited to read the rest of the storyline.

This is a crappy book. The book uses big words or allusions that have no purpose and add nothing to the story. It tries to be a detective novel while adding the high school click elements. He randomly just has a gun?? Just so it can get taken away. This book is garbage

Although I've only read about half of this book so far it is very good. It talks about every day problems that a middle schooler would have in both their school and their homes. They solved problems and etc in the tory and it contains a lot of humor and exciting plots. if you would like to read a humorous and fun to read book, this is the one for you.
