197 million barrels of oil per day. Since Jordan depends on other countries for energy supplies; it
must look for national resources
such as renewable energy and oil shale. Jordanian oil shale is
considered to be of very high quality. It is a domestic resource that will provide the kingdom with a long term supply of cheap, reliable
and abundant energy that gives the best solution for the country’s needs for energy. Oil shale is found
