Person 1: Why bother viewing literature through the Feminist perspective? Why should we still use it to analyze literature?

I believe we should always look at the feminist and anti-feminist perspectives to get both opinions. Using each opinions can represent the feelings of everyone who stands behind them. We should still use this to analyze literature because even if you don't agree with the author's ideas or opinions, they give everyone a different perspective

1.One main point the author makes is how the witches "challenge our assumptions" about the male and female attributes between them and the characters from the start.

2. Also through the story Lady Macbeth gives up her womanliness to echo Freud, "unsex me here" really shows how she needed male qualities to achieve what she want.

3. During the murder of Duncan, Macbeth also shows how violent men can be, especially when he envisions himself as a Tarquin figure going to the king. Which really highlights his manly features.
