There his first 35-mm film, A Grand Day Out, a work in progress, brought him to the attention of the founders of Aardman Animations in Bristol, England, which was at the forefront of a revival of clay animation. In 1985 Park joined Aardman, where he worked on commercials and the music video for Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” while completing A Grand Day Out, which was nominated for an Academy Award for best short animated film in 1991. Additionally, there were polar bears who talked about both the advantage and disadvantages of zoos for the welfare of animals. There is balance in this artwork as there is a strong balance of opinions in the film, with some interviewees who are happy with their living situations, some who are not and some who have a neutral opinion. There are different size of animals in this video.
