I love to play and work with children. I am a very positive person and that's why I think teaching is the right path for me. 
I want to be the educator that makes a difference for the students. I want all of my students to remember me and the impact I put on them. I had a first grade teacher that I absolutely adored as a child. I want to be what she was to me, to other children.

I went to high school there and spent a lot of my life on the lake shown above. I often went boating, kayaking, ice skating, snowmobiling on this lake. It has a huge part in who I am today. I also worked at a restaurant off the lake called the Moose Lodge. This was my first job and I worked there for many years. It gave me lots of experience and relationships with people within the community. 

The community of Lake Fenton is higher class, coming from from a community like this showed me a lot of what I don't want to be when I am older. Working in the restaurant and going to a small school, everyone knows everyone and everything about them. And oh my, I was ready to get out of there when I graduated high school.
