         <description><![CDATA[<p>I think there are appropriate uses for gamification in increasing student engagement.  Students are on games and devices at an all time high and education can and must keep up with that to a degree. Tapping into their competitive nature, games can improve student learning just by learning material to win a game. I believe it taps into a part of the brain for strategizing as well which improves outcomes.</p>]]></description>
