One way I could push myself out of my comfort zone is to speak up for myself because I always tend to be on the side but by joining this program, I hope to step out of my shell and become more vocal! :)

I’m feeling okay this morning! I am excited for my first day of camp :D

One way I could push myself out of my comfort zone is maybe by speaking more because I tend to get a little anxious when talking for the first time !!

One thing im nervous about is learning about code for the first time, but I do hope to become more versed in it and am excited to collaborate with people!

What resonated with me most in the video was when they discussed the the women in computer science statistic. I believe they viewed that statistic in 2021 so it resonated with me because I was curious to see if that stat improved or worsened three years later in 2024!
I am hoping to gain more knowledge, experience, and a better understanding of programming and UX/UI designing!
I am most excited to build and design a website with a team! I think it will be a very fun process!

I'm hoping to gain a better understanding of all the aspects of web development besides just the coding.

I'm feeling excited this morning and I'm hoping to gain skills to help with my project about a website that we want to create. I'm most excited about learning more about HTML and nervous about working with other scholars. I want to push myself outside of my comfort zone by working towards this projects and hopefully presenting at LVSF (regionals for ISEF).

I am nervous but excited this morning. I am hoping to be able to learn how to code better and how to communicate with each other better. I am most excited to learn about each other and talk to new people. I am hoping to step out of my comfort zone and be more outgoing because I am more of a shy person.

Just like them, I too am nervous about embarking on this coding journey! It was great to hear that some of the past scholars had not been exposed to coding and it relieved me as I have zero knowledge about coding!
I hope to gain the skills needed to venture and explore the coding world! Explore opportunities and gain new skills to which I can incorporate in other aspects of my life
I am exited to explore web development and understand different types of languages!

What resonated with me from the video is how other scholars want to make an impact in the tech industry and change the stats of women in the field as it is dominated by males.

I am hoping to gain greater knowledge of web development and continue to challenge myself.
I am most excited about making new friends and learning about web development. I wouldn't say I really am that nervous as this is my second year of KWK and I have coding experience. I can get out of my comfort zone by continuing to participate and share my ideas and thoughts.

I loved how the Scholars were able to go beyond their comfort zone! One girl remarked that she was anxious about attending the camp, but she was truly able to explore her interests in CS and meet many wonderful people who also share her interests, which is real inspiring to me! p.s. feeling a bit groggy bc of ap scores
I hope to gain a better understanding of web development (how to effectively plan frameworks and implement HTML and CSS in backend and frontend code). I also hope to learn about all of these scholars' projects at the end of camp!
I am so excited to meet the amazing changemakers in this community and learn about everyone's diverse experiences. It's super exciting to see people from different countries around the world as well as learn about everyone's amazing initiatives to motivate MYSELF to get involved in my community through web development and social impact!

I'm feeling a bit nervous, but excited at the same time. I'm hoping to gain some basic knowledge for coding and programming since I'll be taking some computer science classes in the next school year. I'm most excited about being able to collaborate with others, but nervous about it at the same time since I'm a bit shy. I hope to push myself to talk more with others in order to reach my goals.

The video was really wholesome

I'm hoping to gain coding experience because i've been interested since 3rd grade ever since a friend introduced me to a coding website, but i never really got the hang of coding until we started doing coding in school and i realized that coding is honestly really fun! I'm super excited to meet more people and learn to collaborate with people since I'm going to a brand new high school this September and I need to learn how to collaborate with brand new people!! -Dire :)

The fun experience that the alumni in the video talked about resonated with me, because coding is something intimidating for me. I am feeling excited this morning.

I am hoping to gain more knowledge about technology and build my coding skills.

I am most excited about creating a website, and I’m a little nervous about learning the actual coding language. However, I hope to push myself to confront the challenge of learning something as unfamiliar as coding head on with a good attitude.
