Days past, and the robin pecked at a pile in front of Mary. Mary first thought that the robin was pecking for a worm. When she took a step closer, she noticed a hole. The hole had a shimmering key in it. She now knew that the robin lead her to the key of the secret garden. Mary was no such girl who asked for permission, so she looked for the door in the vines of the walls. Back at the room, Martha gave Mary Lennox a skipping rope. Martha told her how special it was.
