2) Long-barreled rifle that fired its bullet with compressed air, rather than by flint, spark and powder This was important to the group, in case they ever ran into some trouble with the Indians, or any other enemies.
3)Syringes These are important, because they could use them too inject someone with medicine, if they ever got sick.
4)Blankets These were important, so the crew could stay warm during the night, and have warmth.
5)Hatchets This is important, because they could use these to cut down trees, and build camps for themselves.

I would take Sacajawea as my first choice. I would want her on my crew, because she is very helpful in many ways. She could help the crew revive from their sickness, and she also did a lot more, such as knowing what plants to use for medicine. Not only did she do these things, but she also helped the crew with appearing peaceful, to the enemy Indian tribes.

My second choice would be Meriwether Lewis. I would want him on my team, because he has a lot of experience, by being in the army and having a lot happen in his life. Lewis knew how to graph out maps for Thomas Jefferson when the got back, which is very helpful, because it crossed off one of the things that Thomas Jefferson wanted for the expedition.

I don’t believe that the Clarkia pulchella helped the group in any way, but they probably found it very beautiful. Clark actually liked the plant so much that he named it after him. Lewis, also found a plant that the liked very much, and the decided too name that plant after him.

I say this, because they weren’t used too big animals like bears, because back at home they didn’t have anything like that. I imagine that they approached it calmly then realizing that it was hostile, they probably ran for their lives knowing it was trying to kill them. I know for a fact that if I have never even heard of a bear, and saw a random one in the woods, I would definitely freak out.

They were made of logs, and made an upside down cone shape they also had holes in the to, to release smoke from their pipes or fires. This tribe kept their territory very heavily reinforced, and probably thought the group to be hostels, but instead they did not, probably because of the gifts and Sacajawea. They also had a passion for hunting wild buffalo, which was pretty resourceful to them, they could use the meat for eating and the fur for trading. I believe that the fact that they kept the base heavily guarded they probably didn’t like the group very much, but they soon probably realized that they had a women with them, and a child so they appeared peaceful.
