Skiing

Skiing had entered my life later than most major culture changes. I had started in the 9th grade and it really made a life changing impact on me since then. I realized it was something I excelled at right away and funny enough took all my money too. One big reason I even moved to Salt Lake was for the incredible opportunity of making my skiing into my own career. It has even morphed my photography career to more action sports and outdoor lifestyle. Not to mention the people I have met along the way and the amazing life changing opportunities that have risen. I will forever be grateful to the sport we call skiing as it has moved my life in ways I would have never imagined it to do.

To be honest, I had never truly enjoyed being a part of 4-H like my siblings had. My parents and siblings were a part of 4-H and I was just too young to know what was really happening. Looking back on my experience though, I regret nothing. It really shaped who I am more than I would have thought, from not being able to talk to much of anybody at that age to gaining more self confidence.

I have never really had an interest in any kind of art up until I learned about the art of photography. I started on my parents old camera around 8th grade. My grandpa used to be a photographer for the Iowa State basketball team back in the day and when he started really showing me the ropes, my love for the art really started to grow. From there, my love started to form and I started to learn more and more about the history and different art forms of photography. Like other things, I have made many connections from it and also moved from Minnesota to Utah to continue my career where it will thrive with me.
