4. What are some elements that are key to LGBT Youth feeling safe and accepted?

5. What is your perspective on how LGBT Youth can deal with bigoted/hateful people in their home lives? (Please realize that disregarding unaccepting people, especially parents, is NOT an option for most of us.)

1. Yes, but only because I'm not out.

2. Same as above.

If I were out, I don't think I'd feel safe, though.

4. AWARENESS and fighting ignorance so we don't have so many hateful adults and leadership figures in our lives

5. I don't really think there is much we can do about until we're older. Conservative parents don't take LGBT issues and identities very seriously in their kids and I feel that coming out at a young age could just subject one to a lot of emotional damage.
