The second step in the process is chlorophyll! Chlorophyll is found in the cells and is a special ingredient in photosynthesis. Chlorophyll traps the sun's light in the plant so that the photosynthesis process can occur.
The third step in the process is water! Water is very important because it is one of the most important ingredients in the photosynthesis process. Water is made of many tiny molecules. These molecules are made up of oxygen and hydrogen atoms. During the photosynthesis process, the hydrogen atoms are stripped away so that only oxygen is left!
The fourth step in photosynthesis is the combination of ingredients! The hydrogen atoms get combined with the carbon dioxide so that sugar can be made. The sugar is used as food for the plant.
The fifth step is the end result of photosynthesis! The oxygen left is released back into the air. The sugar that was created by photosynthesis is sent through the plant for food!
The process will restart and make more food for the plant!
