For my piece I chose to model a dragonfly a symbol of freedom and joy. Using thin metal wire, I was able to create a simple but recognisable structure; aimed to be associate with how simple joy can be, like a glimmer of light that brings a sense of liberty. My piece may be simple, but the recognisable form of the dragonfly captures the essence of fleeting joy and freedom.
