Usually, fables use animals as main characters, animals that have characteristics similar to those of humans.The main characteristics of the fables are the proverbs and the moral lesson that gives purpose to the text. Text 5 tells the story of the ant and the grasshopper, the ant spends all summer working and storing food, while grasshopper only eats and sings, ignoring the coming winter to come. Then, when winter comes the grasshopper suffers from being cold and having no food while the ant is in its warm nest and full of food. The story takes as moral the fact that the lazy get what they deserve.
