• What experiences do you share with the characters?

• i relate to jenet in the sesns of i was outside alot as a kid and i can relate because she was badly hurt by geting burned and i got badly hurt by braking my arm

• my family was the simalir because i also had to move alot due to noot having a lot of money.

• i dont know any homless pepole but after reading the book i came to realize that some peppole enjoy that way of living.

2 I think the way people would view this book now  it would remind us to be more grateful because even the poverty we have today is better than a poverty there was back then and what we have right now  they were only able to get that type of treatment  at the hospital and we can get that at our homes without needing to get injured 

3I can relate to Jeanette because when I was a little kid I also got burned it went to the hospital and the nurses were taking good care of me and I thought it was the best thing in the world and to me it was fun at the time because I saw things differently and I was more grateful when I was younger

3.)I think people from now versus then would view the book different because back then you were able to let your kids go play outside without having to fear them getting kidnapped or something tragic happening because  things were a lot more safe background but now there are hundreds of kidnappings every week and things aren't as safe as they used to be  

5.)I can relate to the book because when I was growing up as a kid I was outside a lot with all my friends and cousins but now I hardly see anybody outside stays

 for example the mom just got a job at the school as a teacher and the kids are now going to school and this is the first time we read about this in the book The kids have freedom in the classroom in their freedom actually helps them and motivates them to do better in the classroom and get better academic scores 

2my family is sismilar to there family because i was always outside and home alone with no one to watch me

3 A character I learned  about that I don't relate to is Billy because even though he is Young and has bad parents he chooses to do very bad things with no remorse and I personally can't relate but I understand
