Working with it to make the objects go to it was easy though. Yes, since my desk and chair are really dark I had to make them as dark as possible. It kind of does, except the desk and chair look kinda flat. The entire project was a struggle to be honest, pastels are annoying it work with. I used multiple colors to replace the real ones in the picture so I would have a variety of different colors in the finished product. To be real I hated the process because I had to keep tapping away at it and get pastel all on my clothes. I would probably do a simpler picture if I was to do it again. Getting my lightest lights and darkest darks was somewhat hard because since the pen is black, it makes it hard to make it lighter, since one touch and you have a black dot. I used a lot of hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling to make value, especially in the Spetsnaz helmet. If I was to do the project again I'd make the guy less fat.
