I love the artefacts chosen by the teacher. The old bus ticket (which shows the time, date, whether it’s a double-decker, and passenger count), the annual report book (written in pens by the teacher), and the paper theater ticket. To be honest, I’ve never seen a paper theater ticket before, so it really piqued my curiosity. These artifacts contain the background story of an era and are extraordinarily authentic.

If the goal is to cultivate students' observational skills and inferential skills, it is undoubtedly very successful! Middle block students are very curious and enjoy stories, and indeed, these artifacts have proven to engage students in their learning.

Distribution of learning materials

It might be helpful to have each group send one student to collect the learning materials, rather than having the teacher distribute them. This could save time and make the process more efficient.
