However I never struggled with one and wasn't mentally prepared for an Ap math class. My first Ap math class was calculus and I really didn't know what to expect. I had never seen as I had only taken algebra. The first rules I had to memorize where derivatives of trigonometric functions. If I ever wanted to pass the Ap exam I knew I would have to continue studying and memorizing the next set of integrals or derivatives. As second semester came along I was less of a procrastinator. Calculus was still hard but i got all the flash cards and studying out of the way. Math was never about memorizing for me. It also moved by much faster since the Ap test was sooner than the end of the year.
