This can be acheived ensuring that we teach how knowledge and ideas have been developed across the scientific community and include details of all 'the giants' on whose shoulder's today's celebrated scientists stand. From the development of the Atomic model to Evolution our subject is littered with examples of collaboration across communities cultures and nationalities. There are also a great number of examples where a greater understanding of differences in culture/community would have dramatically increased how quickly we accepted sound scientific ideas.
