From the scatterplot it is clear that our classroom's data seemed to be all over the place and the number of people didn't have correlation to the water usage. In this case the slope represents how much you can expect Y to change as X increases. The Y intercept shows the expected amount of water usage if there were to be 0 people in the house.

After finding my dot on the scatter plot, I found that the LSRL showed that my point was a residual and pretty inacurate compared to the other points. This is because of the size of the square and how far it is from the line.

What I have found after reviewing all these graphs and data I found that the number of people in a household doesn't have correlation with the amount of water used in a house. One confounding variable that could be the cause of this was the size of a house and if they had a pool or not.

After comparing the household data to a population's data, it is clear that when just looking at the household it seems like you can conserve water compared to when looking at a population, it seems like a lot of water is wasted.

Our city's daily water usage is 15,190,100. Yes because every graph that we have looked at has almost the same variability. Yes it is possible to calculate other cities as long as you know how many people are in a city. Our calculations for a household in Roseville turned out to be 634 gallons which is reasonable. This is because it was similar to our classroom's data and isn't an unrealistic amount. This means our city uses 106330700 gallons per week, 455703000 gallons per month, and 5544386500 gallons per year.
