Creating the collage from the plot made me really think deeply which and who am I going to pick for the collage. After a deep thought, I chose five characters that is the main characters is the text. First of all, I pick the main protagonist Qin yu. He symbolized the never-ending will to never give-up. Throughout the story he survived many difficulties and evolved from mistakes and his personality to never back down hooked me in the reading.

The second character I picked is Hei Yu. He portraits as a little mystical bird that Qin Yu found. Qin Yu and Hei Yu grew up together as brothers. Although Hei Yu is a bird, Qin Yu never treated him like an animal. Hei Yu evolved with Qin yu to be one of the strongest in the world. Hei Yu protected his brother Qin Yu and they share a deep trust for each other. Hei Yu’s personality can be represented as fearsome and proud. As Qin Yu and Hei Yu tranverse through challenges they create a unbreakable bond which is very admirable.

The third characther is Hou Fei which became one of Qin Yu’s brother later in the story. When they met Hou fei is much stronger than Qin Yu and often challenged him. Later on, Hou Fei’s master told him to venture with Qin Yu and help each other grow.  Hou Fei has a white fur and could be identified as a monkey. He represent loyalty and firendship as he considered Qin Yu and Hei Yu his sworn brothers.

The last character is the main heroine in the story, Jiang Li. Jiang Li protected and saved Qin Yu once when he was being pursued by his enemies. She is skilled in Go and chess. Qin Yu later on fell in love with her and she return those feelings when she has to leave him and go to another plane. This gave Qin Yu a strive to do his hardest to train and cultivate to find and chase Jiang Li.

 The Stellar Transformations teaches and inspire people that nothing is impossible. I learned a lot after reading the eighteen long chapters. Stellar transformations is a xianxia novel where humans cultivate and the strong is respected. Qin Yu the main protagonist is born differently, he does not have the ability to harness internal techniques to cultivate And in the book where strength means power, it is crucial to be able to cultivate or you will be called cripple your whole life. Qin Yu, the main protagonist is born in the Qin clan which rules the Eastern region. Qin Yu being the third son of Qin De. The Qin clan is extremely strong, However, Qin Yu could not cultivate thus, he is regarded as trash in the story. Qin De, Qin Yu’s father tried everything to help his son to be able to cultivate. However, everything that he tried to do did not work. Although Qin De’s method did not work, Qin Yu tried his best to never give up hope.

 Qin Yu’s personality is very humble. He came up from a very rich family, although he was rich, Qin Yu never showed contempt to poor people. Instead, Qin Yu helps the poor regardless of his inability to cultivated. His bodyguards expressed his personality as kind expressing even stating that“Third Prince is still a kid, but he is already so kind. I can’t understand why His Highness sent Third Prince to Misty Villa.”  showing that his bodyguards felt sympathy for Qin Yu. The story Qin Yu motivated me because of his determination and personality. The theme the author mainly wants to express to the readers is to never give up because everything can be possible with hard work..

 Qin Yu is the main person that the author expressed what the theme represents ( Qin yu represents the main theme that the author wants to express)

. His determination and love for cultivating even though he could not do so still proves that even though everyone gave up on him, Qin Yu never gives up for what he believes in which I strongly believe that he represents the theme of the story. In the end, Qin Yu manage to find a way to cultivate externally gaining respect of his peers and surpassing what is not imaginable for many people in his family.  Qin Yu’s resolution also represents the theme that “you should never give up and believe in what you think is right”. 

 Qin Yu showed his resolution in his his method of cultivation. External cultivation is painful, and without hard work one could not be successful at cultivating externally. Yet, Qin Yu persevere until to the end and became an success ful. Many have showed contempt to how Qin Yu reacts and told him he could not be an expert yet he believe in what his heart desired and resolutely said “Grandpa Lian, please tell me how to practice martial arts. I want to practice. I’ll definitely become a Shangxian. Even if I can’t become a Shangxian, I’ll become a Xiantian expert!’ Qin Yu’s eyes shine with an extreme resolution.” expressing his love for martial arts and his resolution for what his heart desires the most.  

 Qin Yu showed that through hardwork and dedication nothing is virtually impossible. Qin Yu grew stronger and stronger as he faced many trials in the story. Many of those trials included a life and death situations that is hard to overcome. He befriends those who treats him well and made enemies who provoke his life or his family. One of the enemies of Qin Yu when he was young was a huge python that almost ended his life “When the huge mouth of the python is about to shut to complete the bite, the Flaming Sword goes extremely fast towards Qin Yu, who takes hold of it with a grab. After the sword was stuck on by that yellow liquid just now, he no longer dares to let the python bite at it because heaven knows what other tricks he still has up his sleeve.” (Book 5 Chapter 14). Qin Yu showed his might in a very difficult situation with his quick wits and strength, Qin Yu overcame this huge obstacle. 

 Stellar transformations is a very good book for beginners who is interested in chinese novels. Although, Chinese novels are different from English literature it still gives an amazing stroy and lessons that the reader would like. Stellar transformations is the second book of this genre I read. The story has a very commendable main character is very talented and keeps the readers who seek action blood pumping.
