The tendency for us to litter around is high due to the amount of waste we produce, thus leading to the piling of rubbish in public areas.       In addition to providing more litter bibs and organizing campaigns, the city council can impose heavy fines on litter bugs. This is because the city council is responsible for the cleanliness of the city. By imposing heavy fines, people will stop littering as they will become afraid to get fined. Not only that, in order for the heavy fines to properly work, the city council should deploy officers around the city to ensure no littering happen.
