         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the beginning of this novel Junior is just entering high school. He explains his conflicts at home and at school. The main conflict that he faces is his poverty and social crises along with the transition to a new high school and the big change in his social life that comes along with it. The rising action in the novel occurs when Junior decides to switch schools. The climax happens with the deaths of Arnold's close friends and family. The falling action in the novel follows the deaths in Junior's family with the completion of his first year in high school. The resolution took place with the reservation's reacceptance of him.</div>]]></description>
