A strategy that might help you improve on your recordings is doing a stop at periods and a short stop at commas. I think that if you do that it will make your recordings sound better and easier to understand. I also think it will make your voice sound more natural. Great Job!

Bobby did a nice job reading enough for me to understand and also very smoothly. I think overall he could maybe read a bit faster but he did very good most of the time. He also had a very good reading pace.

I think Bilyana could improve at a faster pace but otherwise she did a great job pronouncing words. I think her flouncy was good too. Bilyana read smoothly when she got to the middle paragraph. It seemed like you got faster when you got to the end.

One thing you can do is to stop mispronouncing a word or saying it kind of unseemly. She had a steady pace and used a good voice when there was a question mark. Overall she did a pretty nice job especially because of the perfect volume and pace.

Overall, I feel that my reading rate is pretty good but there is still some things I have to work on. Like making sure that I stop or take a short pause at the period and comma. I think Lenore could improve by having more expression in her voice, and reading a little bit faster. I noticed that Charlotte's reading was fast but then she got a bit slower. It seems like you read fast when you knew the words you were reading, but when you didn't your reading was slower and then got fast again. I think you can improve by reading fast but when you know that a word you can't pronounce is coming you can start slowing down and then going fast again but smoothly.

I think Maggie can improve by slowing down a little when she is reading. I think if Maggie read slower the text would be more understanding. I think Maggie should also add a little more expression to her voice. If Maggie added expression the text would be more interesting, and enjoyable. Overall, I feel that my reading rate is pretty good but I think I could improve on my pausing points. I think that at the beginning of the text I paused too long on periods and commas and that my pauses should be a little faster. I found it easier to read quickly when before I read I looked over the text and found challenging words, then I tried to sound them out. If I can't sound them out I would look in a dictionary for the pronunciation of it. Before I started reading, I expected my reading rate to be good but not so fluent. I also expected it to be too loud or too quite, but it turns out my volume was perfect the first time. When comparing my reading rate to previous times, I see that I improved a lot more every time I read it again.

I noticed that my reading rate was slower when I came across a tricky word, and faster when I knew all of the words in one sentence. When reading difficult texts, my reading rate tends to drop by a slight margin. Overall, I feel like my reading rate is pretty good and I feel that I am not struggling a ton with fluency.

It seemed like you read faster when you had already read the passage twice, because you knew more of the words, and you were used to stopping at periods, and commas in the places that they were at. I noticed that my reading rate was slower when I got to the paragraph about how Hazel shared her knowledge with everyone around her. I slowed down, because there were harder words including "sedimentary," and "igneous." I read slower, to make sure that I pronounced those words right. But, over time, I became faster when I read those, so I improved. Before I started reading, I expected my reading rate to be at a normal pace, not too fast, but not too slow. I would say that I did accomplish this on my last recording. It was at a good pace, and I read smoothly. Overall, I feel that my reading rate is at a good pace. It is not too slow, and definitely not too fast. I think my recordings were easy to understand, and that I read smoothly on all of them.
