Louisa means that Jack came to live with the land, and comprehend how you can legally own the land but at the same time, never have control the land and mountain. In the novel Maus by Art Spiegelman, Art comes to terms with his father and what happened in the Holocaust. While not with even comparable horrific events, Jack comes to terms with how the people on the mountain, the mountain itself, and farming behave.

Task 4- How do the events in Chapter 11 relate to the title of the novel. Research the story of Romeo and Juliet. How does this tale compare/contrast with Diamond's tale?

The events relate to the title "Wish You Well" because the two characters in the story that Diamond tells Lou both die in the well. Also, during this chapter, Diamond tells Lou and Oz that this well makes people's wishes come true because of this story. This is why it definitely relates to the title, "Wish You Well." The story Romeo and Juliet compared to Diamond's tale have the same plot to them, but the settings are completely different. In Romeo and Juliet, the story is during the Renaissance in Italy, while in Diamond's similar tale is in Appalachia, Virginia with a wishing well in it.

Pasteurizing milk is a process that kills microorganisms in milk with heat. Though there are two sides to this story, as with each one: pasteurization companies say that if milk isn't pasteurized than diseases such as tuberculosis can develop in children, while people supporting raw milk say that the pasteurization process takes away important and essential vitamins and turns lactose into something unhealthy. Nonetheless, each party believes something at least minor needs to be done to milk to make sure that it's clean, such as buying it from a more major company with a lot of experience. This would imply, that drinking milk with just a cloth to make it harmless is not sanitary. Still, in the book Louisa begs to differ because she has been drinking milk raw for her whole life.
