I don't think it's too much to ask every team to put on one morning tea for the year as they are always given plenty of notice. As most groups have 7 to 8 team members the cost shouldn't be any more than $15 per person. If we go to an all staff morning tea four times a year, it will work out about the same cost wise, plus there will be too much food all at once. If your are happy to eat the food you should be happy to contribute. Morning tea gives everyone a reason to all come to the staff room and the atmosphere is always good. I think that changes to the Birthdays also need to be made. I think the way we have it now is great. spending $15 a year is not too much to ask. I think you will find that no matter what way we do it you will always find people how won't participate or will complain about what is provided.
