17. Define: SEATO -an international organization for collective defense in Southeast Asia created by the Southeast Asia Collective Defense Treaty, or Manila Pact, signed in September 1954 in Manila, Philippines.

18. Why is this known as the "Forgotten War?" Truman called it a police action so he could get it past Congress. It was not officially a war. It was the Korean Conflict.

20. What was the outcome of the Korean War? With the help of the United Nations, South Korea was able to force the North Koreans back into their territory

21. How did this war impact North Korea and South Korea today? Describe the current relationship between the United States and these two countries. North korea still wishes to invade other countries but does not have the power, they know that america will get involved and drive them back.
