" Dad please come, we need you!" I hollered.
Lori and Brian and mom and Maureen all chimed in. "We need you!" we shouted. "You're the head of the family! You're the dad! Come on!"
Dad stood there looking at us for a minute. Then he flicked the cigarette he was smoking into the yard, closed the front door, loped over to the car, and told Mom to move aside-he was driving. pg 125

This image has a moon but it is more than that, under the same moon, that represents the wall's family no matter where they are at they will always be there for each other even if they always fight and each have there own demons, in the quote the kids want there father to feel loved so they call him back and make him feel important that's family they will always have your back and will always be under the same moon.

"But since we couldn't afford to pay the town's trash-collection fee, our garbage was really piling up. One day dad told us to dump all at once. but that's for the glass castle i said,. it's a temporary measure. dad told me. He explained that he was going to hire a truck to cart the garbage to the dump all at once. But he never got around to that either, and as brian and i watched as the hole for the glass castle foundation slowly filled with garbage.pg-155

I put this picture here to represent the Wall's family and there desire for a fantasy and how i t became a reality on how the glass castle they've always dreamt of become nothing a fantasy uin their heads and the harsh reality wads that it was never going to happen and from the quote that i put down they made a foundation for the glass castle but in the end it just became a dumping ground and the father, rex made excuses and how they were gonna take it away for the the glass castle. The wall's family fantasy of creating the glass castle became a harsh reality that such a thing will never be possible.

'I was afraid that Mr.Becker wouldn't give me the job if he knew i was only thirteen, so i told him i was seventeen. He hired me on the spot for forty dollars a week in cash. I was thrilled. It was my first real job. Babysitting and tutoring and doing other kids homework and mowing lawns and redeeming bottles and selling scrap metal didn't count. Forty dollars was serious money" pg-215

In this picture we have a piggy bank to represent how Jeannette has to start saving up money for her family and work for her family even if she isn't seventeen, at thirteen she has to become economically self-sufficient and learn money management even when her own father would take money away from her for alcohol and cigarettes and his own personal gain when he wouldn't think about this own family for once.

'I was even more worried about the baby inside mom's swollen belly than i was about her. The car bounced on hole and rocks, brush scratching against its sides and dust coming through the open windows. finally, dad cornered mom against some rocks. I was afraid he might smush her with the car, but instead he got out and dragged her back, legs flailing, and threw her into the car. We banged back through the desert and onto the road. Everyone was quiet except mom, who was sobbing that she really did carry Lori for fourteen months. Mom and dad made up the next day, and by late afternoon om was cutting dad's hair in the living room of the apartment we'd rented in Blythe.' pg-43

I chose this picture to represent the wall's family on how there is much chaos happening in there life with there parents fighting then being happy again after the fight as if it never happened not evening acknowledging the fact there was a fight as you can see the man walking down a thing line while after he passed such chaos is like the walls;s family always chaos but then order comes along.
