1. I chose the recipe for naan because it had simple ingredients and an even simpler baking process (as long as I follow it to the letter).
2. I am excited about making this film because I enjoy eating naan (and as such cannot wait to eat the fruits of my labor) and hope to show people how its made (so they can make it too if they so desire).
3. The three most important points that this video should make are that naan is easy to make, naan does not require fancy ingredients, and that naan can be eaten alone or with dipping sauces.
4. I want the audience to feel hungry and anxious to make naan.
5. The one thing that I want the audience to remember is that naan is fun to make and is worth any time you have to put in to make it.
6. Style is at the top.
7. I would like the film to go the entire 90 seconds.
8. I do not have any concerns with the feasibility of this, given that I can do anything as long as I have help (my father, if necessary) and the recipe.

Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
About 3/4 cup milk, at room temperature
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons sugar
Oil for coating bowl, dough rounds, and grill grate
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions
1. Put the flour, baking powder, and salt in a food processor fitted with the dough blade or in a large bowl, pulsing or stirring to mix
2. In a small bowl, mix together 3/4 cup of the milk, the 3 tablespoons oil, and the sugar until blended. Slowly pour the milk mixture into the food processor with the motor running or into the bowl and process or stir until a soft dough forms. Add more milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, if the dough is too dry.
3. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until the dough is smooth and pliable, about 5 minutes. Coat a large bowl lightly with oil and add the dough, turning to coat it with the oil. Cover and let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Return the dough to room temperature before rolling it out.
4. Heat the grill.
5. Divide the dough into 4 pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Cover and lest rest for 20 minutes as the grill heats up. Lightly oil a work surface and roll each ball out to an oval or teardrop shape, about 8 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch thick. Lightly oil both sides of each round of dough and stack them on a plate.
6. Brush the grill grate and coat it with oil. Put the dough rounds on the grill, cover, and cook until browned on the bottom and puffed on top, 1 to 2 minutes. Turn with tongs and brown on the other side for 30 seconds or so. Watch the breads carefully, as they can quickly go from browned to burned (a little burnt spots are okay).
7. Remove the flatbreads to a plate and brush with the melted butter. Serve immediately and cover to keep warm. To eat the flatbread, tear pieces from it.

1. This third week went very smoothly and was very enjoyable, and each assignment logically combined with the next (until I could reap the rewards of my work with a little bit off food). I enjoyed this week; however, the hustle and efficiency that I needed to have during the cooking was challenging for me (given that I do not like to cook on a clock). Due to this, I think that Mr. Burr could have taught us ways to make cooking under a clock easier (the organization and planning helped, but any type of tip to meet the time mark would be helpful).
2. The most valuable thing I learned from this week is that having an organized plan can lead to an efficient project, especially when that project demands your full attention and effort (like baking or cooking something). This is the most valuable thing because this planning and the execution of said plan is vital for success, and as such is valuable to learn in order to succeed in both a cook and in life.
3. I felt that my storytelling was on point, but some of the execution on my shots was off the mark. For example, I turned my back to the camera during some of the mixing phases of the bake, thus missing out on a perspective that could have made my project better. In spite of this, I am very proud of my project and what I did, given that that was the first time I had ever cooked something, let alone record it (also, I am proud of the fact that I was able to record something I made in an hour in a minute and a half, yet still having a logical story). The filming, the cook, and the editing all went well, especially the cook as the naan was delicious. However, the execution of some of my pre-made shots could and should have gone better.
