We have all felt the disruption of the last year. While generally all students have had routines interrupted and programs redesigned to meet the new modality of instruction, children who have special services provided are perhaps most affected by that disruption. Parents and educators have had to approach this challenge with creativity, flexibility, and teamwork. Now we can really see that the accommodations that special education students require can actually be beneficial to all students.

Merely having knowledge or information is not enough. Simply put, students who are able to think critically are able to solve problems. There's no doubt about it — critical thinkers make the best choices. Critical thinking helps students deal with everyday problems as they come their way, and very often this thought process is even done subconsciously. It helps them think independently and trust their gut feeling.

At first, I was so much afraid to try new things. In Teachnow program, trying new things every week are order of the day so, is either you embrace it with courage or you keep carrying your weekly activities over to another week. The danger of that decision is that each has got its own specific activities that need to be submitted as well. It got to a point, I told myself, imagine the worst & face your fears. At this point I developed a sound growth mindset. The words I say to myself is that 'Treasure, you're here to learn, don't be bothered so much about the grades, don't focus on that, focus more on the process, learn, grow, become better.''
Boom!, that was it for me. I immerse myself in researching materials, resources online, as well as read up the materials from the module's activity resources. This was very helpful, because, there, you'll find a blue print, a model to use.

Can All Students Learn?
The simple answer--of course they can! Every student has the potential to learn, grow, and become a successful member of society. The real question then becomes, how do we get them there? Every student has a set of strengths and weaknesses that will affect his or her ability to learn and the level at which they learn.
Three things to bear in mind:

 Meet Them Where They Are

 What Do They Know?

What Do They Want to Know?
