Poverty is about not having enough money to meet basic needs including food, clothing and shelter. However,poverty is more,much more than just not having enough money.The estimated minimum level of income needed to secure the necessities of life.Poverty is essentially the lack of the means to live.As such,their basic human needs cannot be met.Its important to remember that poverty is a socioeconomic condition that is the result of multiple factors-not just income.
There are several causes of poverty which leads to poverty
The most important causes of poverty in India are poor agriculture, growing. 
population, gap between rich and poor,
corruption and black money. Poor agriculture: India is mainly an agricultural country. About 80% people of our country depend on agriculture.
_ Lack of access to clean water and nutritious food.
-Lack of access to basic healthcare.
-Inequality or social injustice.
-Conflict and instability.
-Lack of education.
-Lack of access to jobs and livelihood. 
-Poor basic infrastructure.
-Climate change.

How can we reduce poverty in our counrty.
-Speeding up Economic Growth.
-Rural growth and poverty alleviation.
-Development of non-farm employment.
-Fast development of infrastructure.

In addition, poverty has effected to people.
It affects of childhood poverty  
Poverty adults living in poverty art at a higher risk of adverse health effects from obesity ,smoking,substance use and chronic stress Finally,order adults with lower income experience higher rates of disability and mortality.

There are some methods to solve the poverty.
1. Ensure clean water-Having access to clean water is a huge factor in a country welfare Not only does it need to be safe to drink,but it needs to be closer to people homes.
2. Make education a priority-A huge factor in how to solve poverty involves education.
