Smokers were able to smoke anywhere(inside and outside) but recently they made a new law where you cannot light your cigarette up anywhere you’d like.
The legal drinking age in Japan is 20, but the legal drinking age in Canada is 18.  The driving age in Japan is 20.  The voting age in Japan is 20 and the voting age in Canada is 18. The legal age for being married in Japan is 18 for male and 16 for female. The smoking age for Japan is 20 and the smoking age for Canada is 18.

If you do not have your passport on you the police have the ability to arrest you. Another law is when a couple divorces, the woman must wait six months before starting another relationship, not the man. 
-Also if the woman gives birth during that six months the child is legally her ex-husband's child. 
-It is also illegal or “forbidden” to throw away and damage money.
