1. talking to someone.
Isolation can have an extremely negative impact on your happiness. Speak to your friends and family - they know you best and care about you the most. Studies suggest that socializing with a friend just once a week can reduce your stress levels and improve your mood as much as therapy or counselling. (source: https://www.prospects.ac.uk/applying-for-university/university-life/5-ways-to-manage-student-stress)
2. Get enough sleep.
Take time to relax before you fall asleep. if you study in the same room you sleep in, cover your books and homework, etc. with with a sheet or blanket. Avoid screen time as much as possible. Try to go to sleep at the same time and wake up at the same time each day. Seven to eight hours is recommended. (source: https://www.prospects.ac.uk/applying-for-university/university-life/5-ways-to-manage-student-stress)
3. Reduce noise.
Switching off all the technology, screen time, and constant stimuli can help us slow down. Make time for some quietness each day. You may notice how all those seemingly urgent things we need to do become less important and crisis-like. Take time to recharge and calm down. That to-do list will not go anywhere and will be right where you left it when you return from quiet time. (source: https://positivepsychology.com/stress-management-techniques-tips-burn-out/)

Which one will I use personally?
I think I will likely use all of these tips, but the one I will use the most is probably reducing noise, including screen time. I have a bit too much screen time during the day. Having some quiet time at the end of the day, like reading a book before bed, will help. Also, if I stop looking at TV or my iPad or computer before bed, it will help me sleep better than I have been lately, so it's all connected. :) If I practice all of the tips above I can reduce my stress dramatically.

Technique #1: Identify what stresses you
Try to figure out what personally stresses you out and take note of you respond. You can physically take notes on your thoughts, physical tendencies, etc. This can help you put your worries into perspective and can help you view things more positively.
https://www.jw.org/en/library/magazines/awake-no1-2020-mar-apr/how-to-deal-with-stress/
Technique #2: Be kind to yourself
When we are stressed, we generally have the tendency to be mean to ourselves, not cutting ourselves enough slack. Being too hard on ourselves actually makes things worse and can even cause us to develop more serious conditions, such as depression. Try to be realistic with yourself: no one is perfect. Try your best to have an optimistic, yet realistic view of your circumstances and of yourself.
https://www.verywellmind.com/tips-to-reduce-stress-3145195
Technique #3: Don't be afraid to get social support
When we're stressed and in our heads, it's hard to reach out for help sometimes. We often don't want to burden others with our problems. Keep in mind though that other people may be able to view our problems in a different light, and can provide suggestions, as well as emotional and physical support. If you are combating serious stress and don't have anyone to go to, don't be afraid to even join a social support group, or talk to a psychologist if things seem unbearable. There is no shame in asking for help.
https://www.verywellmind.com/tips-to-reduce-stress-3145195

Stress Management Techniques

1) exercising daily. In times when stress can take the form of aggression exercising can really help let out the pent up emotions inside.
2) Getting enough sleep. Sleep is a time when our bodies can rest and regenerate. It's a necessity to get enough of it on a regular basis so your brain can function how it's meant to.
3) Listening to music. Sometimes music can be a really healthy way of coping. By turning on your favourite playlist you can calm yourself down or even allow the emotions you've locked away out and let yourself feel them.

What would I use?
I would use music the most I think! Because of several different causes sleep is really hard for me so as much as I do try to get enough it's a lot harder. I find music and sound is definitely a comfort to me and helps me work through a lot of my emotions. However, I do enjoy boxing a lot and that helps my stress levels.
