I had grown up in Indiana for my entire life up until now. My mom had six siblings that lived there and from them, I had 19 cousins who were like my own siblings. I grew up living next to three of my cousins. We had a duplex with one of my mom's sister. 
Moving away was very hard. I was homeschooled while I lived in Indiana, and so my only friends were my cousins who were like brothers and sisters to me. When we moved, it was like my family was torn apart. I wasn't sure how I would go everyday without seeing them. 
Transitioning here was even more hard because it was a brand new area and I had no friends. Once I started going to school, it got better because I was able to make new friends and get to know people thats lived around me. Although I was very angry about moving here in the first place, it was the best decision my parents have made.
