Yes. Although they seemed overqualified for the job - not necessarily a bad thing?

They were a good culture fit, they seemed interested and engaged.

Had a lot of focus on the tech side but I did like their answer on how they fostered collaboration. Seems to have led a few different teams through projects.

I would have liked to see more hands-on examples for leading projects - got the sense they didn't have huge experience here?

Yes. Particularly strong answers in self-awareness, feedback, and communication. I am confident they can make an impact from day one.

Pros:

Gave a great example on learning to lead with trust and how that improved stakeholder relationships.

Shared experiences on transitioning a DR to a more suitable job function. How they helped that DR achieve success through coaching.

Collaboration: Emphasized their focus on feedback. Also evidenced that this depends on the situation, how best to deploy the feedback and the purpose of the feedback - keep the focus on the problem.

Cons:

Would often go down tangents when answering questions leading to communication concerns. We did run out of time so I couldn't ask all my follow-up questions.
