I attribute that to the design of the print which was particularly challenging both to etch and to print. The  marks were not deep enough and the ink dried too fast or was wiped incorrectly. It is noticeable  in areas such as the face where too much ink was wiped  and there are dark spots. The water was also an issue as wetting of the paper was inconsistent and unpredictable. But finally, I was able to clean up my prints with fine liners and photoediting.

I could possibly add in a little more value to the brass. I think that if the print was more visible and neatly done, the message would be clear. The fist and the women's emotion are expressive and self-explanatory. What I could do to improve the composition is making the fist a bit smaller because it looks like it barely fits on the brass.
